Overview
Beat Teddy is online gambling website that includes numerous games that players can choose and make a bet.

Task
Collaborated directly with the UI Designer/Manager to create 3 different game series from Beat Teddy franchise: Rock Paper Scissors Tournament, Fortune Scratchers, Baccarat.

  • Design an intuitive, seamless, and engaging game user experience.
  • Ensure all components are easily accessible and positioned logically, allowing players to navigate the interface naturally without needing to learn it.

User interview: Professional and casual gamblers.
Interestingly, the stakeholder of this game franchise is a professional gambler. Our stakeholder recruited six candidates for research — two professional gamblers and four casual players — which provided valuable insights.
  • For online gambling, Both professional and casual players preferred quick and easy games that are exciting yet simple enough to pass the time.
  • Both groups also emphasized the importance of feeling like they are competing against real people.
  • Professional Gamblers aimed to test their strategies, outsmart opponents, and generate quick revenue. Additionally, ensuring the game felt fair and not rigged was crucial to them.
  • Casual Players were more focused on the thrill of the game, seeking moments of tension followed by satisfying, rewarding experiences when they won.
Market research Insights:
  • Conducted market research to explore existing games, analyzing their user experience and interface strategies for retaining player loyalty.
  • Experienced competitors' full gameplay to identify key visual elements and effects that captivate and engage users.
